JOURNALS TO GO, Techniques for travel writing

Learn how to capture the sights and sounds of your once-in-a-lifetime travel experience in a personal travel journal—in less than fifteen minutes a day! You’ll be amazed and surprised at how simple it can be to use a journal to savor your memories and record your experiences.

No writing expertise is required to keep your own record, but there are some tricks and techniques that can make it easier and more satisfying.

Susan de Wardt, an AWC member in the mid-80s, will be our coach. She took up journal writing to help her through difficult transitions, to organize her thoughts, and to record the extraordinary opportunities and events that present themselves when living away from home and away from family as an expat. A certified journal facilitator/instructor for the Journal to the Self workshops, Susan has offered to share her skills with us as a way of giving back to AWC. Read more about her here.

Place:    AWC, 4th floor
Limit:    20 persons
Leader:  Joette, joette.berkompas@gmail.com
