WAT BANG PHRA & AIR ORCHID FARM ADVENTURE

Date:  Wednesday, December 12th
Time:  9:00 am–3:30 pm (approx return time)
Cost:  200 baht 
Limit:  Min 4 or Max 14 (AWC members only)

Deadline to sign up online and pay is Monday, December 10th

This will be a great day away from Bangkok! We will depart the city and head to Wat Bang Phra, the most famous place in Thailand to receive a genuine "sak yant" tattoo from a master-artist monk. No, we are not getting tattoos, but we can observe and get blessed by monks. The temple itself is said to be beautiful and worth seeing!  

From  there we will drive a short time to the Air Orchid Farm & Supermarket where we will have lunch,  learn about the farm, and explore the grounds and/or shop at your leisure.  Just a little culture and country for a day! 

Special Notes:  Wear appropriate temple attire, comfortable shoes, and hat. Bring money for lunch and shopping, and bright smiles!

Itinerary:
9:00  Depart Bangkok
10:30–11:30  Wat Bang Phra
12:00  Lunch at AirOrchid Supermarket
12:30  Brief presentation about the orchid farm, then enjoy shopping and exploring the farm. Bikes are also available for your pleasure.
2:00  Return to BKK

Meeting place: EmQuartier, Phrom Pong BTS. Van will pick up in front of Sephora on the lower level. Drop-off same location around 3:30pm.
