POSTPONED until further notice out of respect for the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Aduladej October is Breast Cancer Month, so let’s do something fun to show our support. Let’s dance—Bollywood style!

We are all familiar with Bollywood Dance, but do we know where it comes from?
The term Bollywood was created by combining two names Bombay the city now known as Mumbai and Hollywood. The highlight of Bollywood movies are elaborate dance sequences and original sound tracks. Over the years Bollywood movies have developed their own signature style of song and dance which combines India's many classical and folk dances fused with elements of Jazz, Hip Hop, Arabic and Latin forms. The combination of lively catchy music, a great full body workout, exercise which is a lot of fun, total stress relief, AND absolutely no prerequisite of being a seasoned dancer. You definitely should sign up and let yourself GO!

Bollywood dance is for everyone! Touching on any personal dance style. Maureen Duffus, a Bollywood dance and exercise instructor, is donating 100% of her time and fees to the cause. AWC Welfare will match the proceeds of these dance classes and donate the funds to the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation.
