Join us for a morning of coffee, snacks, and introduction to NightLight Bangkok’s many outreach activities in the ever-bustling Nana community. In NightLight’s own words, “NightLight is an international organization committed to addressing the complex issues surrounding trafficking and prostitution by catalyzing individual and community transformation.”

At their newly opened, state-of-the-art coffee shop, CityLight Coffee, on Sukhumivit Soi 4, we’ll hear a bit more about NightLight’s work in the community, especially as it relates to women formerly employed in the sex trade.
We’ll also have the chance to shop some of the crafts NightLight employees have created—from jewelry to beautiful Christmas ornaments and T-shirts, just in time for holiday gift-giving!

We’ll finish our visit by taking a short walk around the corner to NightLight’s workshop where much of the training and creativity of NightLight employees take place. This will include a chance to see their newly expanded baking project, which the AWC was fortunate to help fund.

In recent years we’ve had the pleasure of hosting jewelry-making workshops with NightLight in our homes. This year NightLight welcomes us to theirs.
