Join us at the home of Irma Gustafsson for a delightful morning filled with creativity and fantasy. Irma arrived in Bangkok 49 years ago and, for 33 of those years, she ran a successful export business of decorative accessories, Christmas ornaments and dolls. After selling this business in 1992, she began making dolls for her own pleasure and has filled her home with them.
Each doll has its own unique personality and is uniquely different in expression and design—the result of the blending of Irma’s rich imagination and artistic touch. All faces are handmade and the costumes are elaborate. During this visit, you will meet Irma, view her personal collection, tour her workshop, and learn how the doll-maker creates these one-of-a-kind masterpieces.
