The National Museum Bangkok dates back to 1874, when King Rama V opened the first public museum to exhibit the royal collection of King Rama IV inside the Grand Palace and later transferred in 1926 to the present site. The Museum traces the history of Thailand through the artifacts from the various periods of Thai history and areas of Thailand. Many interesting royal and religious buildings are located on the grounds. Alan Needleman, on tour with the National Museum Volunteers, a tour leader, will be conducting a private tour just for us.

The National Museum is not far from the Phrachan Pier River Ferry: Wang Lang N10. Then cross the river by shuttle boat. We will try and car pool closer to the event. If you have a car and driver, please let one of us know if you can help car pool.

Lunch at the museum restaurant is optional and not included in the donation amount.

Limit: 20 persons

Leaders: Naina, narao39@gmail.com & Kathy, globalkate1@gmail.com

Deadline to sign up online and pay is January 24th.
