What's on in the Bangkok Community...
- Diamond Jubilee Ball ~ Sat, June 9th. Hosted by the British Women's Group of Thailand in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's 60th reign year.
The AWC and its members are very involved in the local community through the Community Projects and the Scholarship Committees.
We believe each of us can make a difference! Members take advantage of a variety of club activities, such as mahjong, tennis, golf or the book club. Many of our members take excursions, visiting nearby countries as well as interesting locations within Thailand and Bangkok. (View the Calendar of Activities) Another special aspect of AWC Thailand is the Asian arts and culture magazine, Sawaddi, which is published quarterly and staffed entirely by volunteer members.

In February 2012, AWC donated 770,000 baht to the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer Foundation, being accepted by Dr. Kris Chatamra. Without our volunteers, members, guests and generous Sponsors of our 2011 Fundraising events, this donation wouldn't have been possible. Read more here...
