The countless street food stalls that line Bangkok can be a little intimidating and overwhelming to many, yet we all are curious on how these cheap, convenient and delicious bites have become such a big part of this country's cultural attraction.

We have invited the author of “Bangkok's Top 50 Street Food Stalls,”  Chawadee Nualkhair, to satisfy that curiosity. She will be talking about what is essential when eating from food stalls. A foodie at heart, she confesses to checking out other people’s plates and yearning for the same thing. The Chiang Rai–born, US–raised freelance journalist documents her street food wisdom in the Thai capital on her blog www.bangkokglutton.comHer book is available at all AsiaBooks, Bangkok Bagels (G fl., Maneeya Center), Coffee & More (at Baan Phra Arthit), Orchid Books (4th fl., Silom Complex) and Duc de Praslin chocolaterie (entrance to Sukhumvit Soi 31) and some of the AsiaBooks outlets at the airport. You can also buy her book online!
