A glossy quarterly magazine, Sawaddi presents stories and artwork about the arts, crafts, history and culture of Asia and has been published under the auspices of the American Women's Club of Thailand since 1962. Proceeds are donated to educate Thai students and to assist various charitable projects supported by the AWC.
With a staff of about 12 volunteers, members are involved in the entire process of production. This includes writing, editing, proofing, design and layout, photography, as well as contacting advertisers and article contributors. If you are an AWC member looking for something to do that will add valuable experience to your resume, we invite you to join the staff of Sawaddi. We work Mondays and Thursdays at the clubhouse (10 a.m. to 3 p.m. or whatever time you have). Have questions or want more information? Contact the Managing Editor.
