The last issue is out, our final chapter has been written, and we bid a final farewell to Sawaddi Magazine on November 20th at our Open House. We thank our many faithful and dear friends who dropped by to reminisce and enjoy the day.
Sawaddi Magazine published subjects of an enduring nature ~ history, art, culture and traditions of Asia as well as contemporary topics, individual profiles, travel articles and light essays ~ from 1962 until 2012 under the auspices of the American Women's Club of Thailand.

This final edition is a stunning tribute to 50 years of publication. Sawaddi was possible, in great part, because of our advertisers, local companies whose sponsorship covered operating costs. We so appreciate each and every one.
Also invaluable to our success were the hundreds of dedicated women (AWC members) who volunteered their time and talents to producing Sawaddi over the past five decades. Our thanks to all! And we hope you enjoy the last issue ever of Sawaddi. We on the staff are going to savor it.
