English Camp - POSTPONED

The AWC annual English Camp organized by the Scholarship Committee is an event not to be missed! All AWC members and their family and sponsors are welcome to attend as volunteers to help the students improve their English skills. 

We're saving a spot on the bus for you! We have 30 volunteers signed up, but we would like at least 10 more volunteers. It is not too late to volunteer for this fun weekend!

Qualifications to volunteer for English Camp:

• Do you speak English?
• Do you like to practice your English with young Thai people?
• Do you like to visit new parts of Thailand?
• Do you enjoy inspiring others?
• Do shy, but welcoming smiles, melt your heart?
• Do you like to have fun?
  

If you answered “Yes” to any of the above questions, you are eligible to join us for a spectacular English Camp in Nakhon Sawan!

Important Information:

1. We have arranged transport via air-conditioned coach bus. The bus will depart November 18th at approximately 7:30 am from the Emporium Suites (Phrom Phong BTS) and will arrive at the hotel at approximately 12:30-1 pm. The bus ticket price is to be paid by the volunteer. At this time, we estimate the round trip price to be under 1,000 baht.
2. The bus will stand by to provide transportation to/from the hotel to the school in Nakhon Sawan. There will also be a shuttle van available.
3. We will be staying at the Grand Hill Resort and Spa. The hotel stay is to be paid by the volunteer. We have a group rate expected to be less than 2,000 baht for two nights / person. Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday mornings is included with the room rate. We have blocked a group of 30 rooms including double beds (roommates), single queen beds, and shared queen beds. We will contact volunteers soon regarding which type of room is required. If you need a roommate, we will do our best to pair you up.
4. Lunch and dinner on Friday, Saturday and lunch on Sunday are provided during English Camp. These meals are prepared by the school cooks, so it would help if you let us know whether you prefer vegetarian meals.
   

Your total cost should be less that 3,000 baht.
