Community Projects Committee is hosting an Ice Cream Party for students at the Thungmahamek School for the Deaf. This is a time when AWC members can meet the 200 children at their school. Members will scoop and distribute the ice cream to these children, who attend the 1st to the 6th grade.
This Ice Cream Party will take place on Friday, February 19th at 11:00 am. Not only are we serving cool ice cream on a hot day, but we also are purchasing the ice cream from the students' ice cream company.
We can use as many helpers as possible. You'll be glad you came!
There is no fee for this special party, but we would appreciate knowing who can help and whether you need a ride. Please register online by Wed, Feb 17th.
We have a map to the school for those of you who are driving yourselves. For those who want to go together or need a ride, we will be in touch with meeting time and place.
